Shelter in Frostproof Closes

(Frostproof, FL) An American Red Cross shelter located at the Emmanuel Fellowship Baptist Church on County Road 630 in Frostproof is now closed. The shelter was opened this morning for residents evacuated from a mobile home community because of a sinkhole. Residents from the Southern Pines Mobile Home Park have been allowed to return to their homes.
Red Cross volunteers are continuing to provide snacks and water for emergency officials still on the scene.
