Your old clothes can be turned into cash for your local Red Cross! The American Red Cross Mid-Florida Region is proud to partnered with Charity Clothing Pickup. The organization collects donated clothes and other items throughout the counties served by the Mid-Florida Region. You can also drop off your items at the clothing donation drop boxes located throughout the area.
Charity Clothing Pickup then sells the items in bulk to thrift stores in the United States.  A portion of the proceeds come back to the American Red Cross Mid-Florida Region.

You can donate usable clothing of all types for men, women and children including hats, belts, shoes, purses as well as small household items such as blankets, linens, towels, pots, pans and toys.
Through it's door-to-door service Charity Clothing Pickup can accept all of the above plus: small household appliances such as TV’s and microwaves, dishes, decorative items, small computers, and other usable items that can be easily carried by one person.
Research conducted by the Environmental Protection Agency in 2000 showed that as much as 85% of used textiles end up in landfills. Through this program you can help correct this problem in our community while funding your Red Cross.
