Our programs and services are made possible primarily through the generosity of individuals, businesses and foundations who give voluntary gifts of time and money. Simply put, our work would not be possible without the generous financial support of people like you.

	$25 Provides 5 blankets for disaster victims.		$65 Provides food and shelter for a disaster victim for one night in a motel.
	$350 Feed and shelters 50 disaster victims for one night.		$500 Provide 10 comfort kits for veterans. A comfort kit includes a phone card, robe and shower shoes, toiletries, calendar and an iTunes card.
	$1,000 Provide 50 home clean up kits for victims of disasters.		$5,000 Trains 50 volunteers to assist thousands of people during disasters.

Where does my donation go?
From July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010 the American Red Cross Mid-Florida Region:

• Provided financial assistance to 831 families following a disaster
• Taught 53,556 people how to perform life-saving skills such as CPR and first aid
• Deployed hundreds of volunteers to provide relief in response to fires, floods and other disaters throughout the 13 counties we serve
• Helped almost 10,000 Haiti earthquake survivors following their arrival in Sanford
• Relayed 5,422 emergency messages for members of the military and their families around the world, helping them stay connected to family members through difficult seperations
